It’s Personal
This is the end of the site for now, thanks for poking around!
Well folks, this is it. This was definitely the hardest page to write, but hopefully it gives you a better idea of who I am beyond academics and work.
To start, I like doing things. I’m almost always in motion. Whether that’s watching movies, playing sports, or working through school, it matters not, I just like to be engaged. You’ve (hopefully) already read a lot about my academics, and you’ve seen some of my sporting background, but I’m still very active today.
Sports & Staying Active
Hockey was my first real sport and is still my favorite. I play in a men’s league and volunteer with sled hockey programs. When the weather cooperates, I also try to play as much pond hockey as possible.
I run frequently, I try to go at least 12 miles a week. Recently, I’ve completed both a half marathon and a 10K, and I plan to continue running races going forward.
I also play a lot of disc golf. It has all the great conversational aspects of normal golf, it's just a heck of a lot cheaper.
Outdoors
Beyond traditional sports, I’ve been involved with the Rensselaer Outing Club. I served as secretary during my sophomore year and have held a few chair positions as well.
These days, my primary activity with the club is caving, which in the Northeast is limited to the summer months, but the adrenaline is worth the wait.
Movies & TV
I’m a sucker for movies of any quality, good or bad. I’m also a big fan of network television. Recently, I finished watching How I Met Your Mother and have been working my way through The Venture Bros..
I’m impressed you made it this far. If you’d like, keep an eye on the site I plan to continue updating it in the future.
Thanks for reading.
